The digital store designs will be unveiled today at a ceremony at the Interieur Store Design Center in the city of Toulouse.
Designers are expected to discuss the plans and unveil their plans for the new designs in the coming weeks.
Toulouse Mayor Jean-Jacques Dupont said the plans were being worked out “in parallel with the implementation of the new digital stores which are coming into force in 2018.”
The city is ready for the digital stores and we’re going to have a plan that will meet all the requirements for that,” he said.”
But for us to see the results in the digital store we need to have the digital shop ready to go, which means a new design, a new layout, new brand and a new brand identity.
“The new design for the Intereurs store will be similar to the one that was created in 2016 by a team led by designer Pierre-Yves Laguet, a renowned architect who also designed the Paris Opera house and other landmark buildings.
The new store design will be based on the interiors of the interieurs department store, which has been one of the city’s most successful retailers in recent years.
Its design has received positive reviews from both critics and admirers.
The city’s retail giant, Intereur, announced last year that it would expand its store into a new building on the site of the old Intereus store and that it was also building a new retail complex for its own customers.
The city’s new Intereuses are expected be ready for business by 2021.
