Designers are using a mix of classic and modern materials to create clothes for men, women and children.
They say this is a way of life and is the way they keep themselves active.
“There are so many possibilities to get a great fit, but there’s no way to make something that’s 100% perfect,” said Malasa designer Sophie van den Brink.
“I think that’s what it’s all about.”
The process of fashioning a garment is not just about the design, it’s also about finding a good fit.
The more you use, the more you create and the more beautiful the finished product will be.
“When you have something in a certain shape, you can create an entire pattern out of that shape,” said Van den Brok.
“The more you can see, the better you will make it.”
The Malasa collection of clothes, including some designed by Sophie van der Brink, are displayed at the design shop in Amsterdam.

We have different suits and shirts and we also have different styles of dresses.”
Her father, Van de Boers, a fashion designer, helped design her collection of dresses and coats.
