A man has pleaded not guilty to robbing a mall in West Palm Beach, Fla., on May 20.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said the robbery happened at the Walmart store in the 200 block of East South Main Street in Westwood around 2:30 a.m.
The suspect entered the store through a back entrance and demanded cash.
He forced the cashier to open the door to a safe and fled with the cash.
Deputies arrested the suspect in the store, who was wearing a black hoodie and was carrying a silver handgun.
He was taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries to his hands and arm.
A preliminary hearing is set for June 10.
